It's sad that Families can't come together in time of need .....Bobby Brown was her Ex-Husband and the father of her Child Bobbi Kristina and she needs her dad ....and Whitney Houston‘s family needs to put all differences aside and let that man be a man. he loved her, But if he decided not to go then so be it. But....no one should tell him he can't. and stop blaming Bobby.

i use to have respect for dr. west bit now what is wrong? i'm sick and tired of these high paid negroes who just talk about things and want to be seen in the in group. acting like they have some connection with that group's movement. they don't solve anyone's problems. they leach off the moment of the popularty. how can you say these things about dr. perry when you are still an employee and getting a paycheck on the same white led establishment?? you led no organization nor movement to solve the problems of no one. what's getting under your skin in that you are not the momentary darling of liberals, and don't have a tv show or an invitation to the whitehouse.

Malcolm X, or as he died, El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz mother was not "white" nor was his father so I'm not sure how this makes Malcolm "half white". His mother was bi-racial (black/white) and I'm sure if many African Americans go back far enough they could find a bi-racial foreparent in their lineage due to the many slaves who were raped...are they considered"half-white"? Also, Malcolm has several brothers and sisters from the same parents with skin significantly darker than his, does this make them "half-white" also? I think you guys should be a little more accurate before putting articles out to the world that can give someone in China or Mexico or anywhere in the world the wrong perception.

civil rights is civil rights it is not blacks white or gay it is our civil rights as a member of the human race to be treated with the same equality and respect in a civil society governed by civil laws and freedoms and rights for all in that society. what if white woman upjected to blacks equating black civil rights to what white woman or jews went through? no one has a patent on unfair teatment and opression but we all have the right to compair the fight to equality to our own fight.

blacks are not more homophobic than other people but whites who are racist and want to create a wedge issue and a divide and conquer issue amoungs blacks are behind the push. also blacks who are homophobic gladly aloud themselves to their hate and fear that is homophobic. if you look at those who point their fingers angrily at non heterosexuals. should look at themselves, why because they are not dating anyone or even trying to find a date. also who is their sexual partners? and when did anyone every see you will one? and those who hate or fear non heteros are themselves not married and don't have children or trying to find any. so the issue is not an issue. so don't let it cloud the important things that we really need to be transfixed on.

if cornel and smiley are so concerned with the poor and blacks as they say then why don't they have a program or an organization that helps the poor and teaches the poor to become rich?? the difference between rich and poor is a lack of knowledge, organization, participation, goal setting, problem solving skills, critical analysis, networking, and team work. the rich knows this and lives it. the poor doesn't. people use the poor and blacks for their own selfish ends but never do the things that solve the problem that they say the are so concerned with. high paid house negroes will always do this until the rest of us wake up.

I'm not at all happy to see these two go at each other. I love them both and always listen up when I see either on tv. I do think that Dr West really cares about all poor people Black, Brown , Beige and yes White. I can only hope that this is just a misunderstanding and Professor Harris-Perry also cares about poor folks and is not being used.
